Christmas/birthday present for my boyfriend?

Okay, so I’m dreadful at deciding for presents for men…especially important men. Never knew what to get my dad when he was alive, and now I have no idea what to get my boyfriend. Same problem last year.
-We’ve been dating for a year and a half
-He likes video games and sports, but I’d rather not go the video game route and I wouldn’t know what to get him, sports-wise
-He’s turning 21 in less than a week; I’m under 21
-Present’s got to be fairly inexpensive (less than $50, if possible) because I went maybe a little too pricey on the anniversary present
-I want it to be special…maybe something I can make?
-He’s a classics major and spent last semester abroad in various Mediterranean countries
-He’s in a fraternity, but he’s not really the "fraternity type"
-He’s got already got a nice wallet, belt, buckle, and neck-ties…rather not go the clothes route anyway
Any ideas?
If you want a present which is inexspensive, then why not give him a photo frame with a collage of pictures of the both of you inside. I did the same for my boyfriend on our anniversary and he loved it and I also put a little message on the back
. Also, how about getting him a nice shirt or cologne? Good luck xx

A men’s shaving kit/body wash set.
One for men tho, try the axe collection,
go to a department store like Marshalls and find
something like that there, or go in Abercrombie and Fitch or
HollisterCo & buy some cologne or men’s body stuff there.
… I tried (:
