Godless In America: Madalyn Murray O’Hair (1/6)

The amazing life – and disturbing death – of an extraordinary woman who successfully challenged the place of God in American life for 30 notorious years.

Madalyn Murray O’Hair had come to occupy a special place in the American psyche since her 1963 campaign which ended compulsory prayer in US schools after a Supreme Court action on behalf of her son William. O’Hair’s campaign succeeded, but she became the most hated woman in America (her own label), as she fought to take the name of God off the dollar bill – and her son became a born-again Christian.

Then, on a summer’s day in 1995 , she suddenly disappeared, leaving her breakfast dishes on the table – and half a million dollars missing from her organisation’s bank account.

If Atheists Acted Religious

I doubt many religious people could stomach a taste of their own medicine. I’ve known people who got fired when it was discovered that they were an atheist. Atheists are one of the last groups that it is still okay to discriminate against (not only okay, but encouraged). A major reason for this is because religion cannot hold up to our criticisms; therefore, censoring us becomes the only viable solution. The truth offends. Everyone who did audio in this animation is VERY much worth your subscription. In order of appearance: BionicDance (the teacher), KingHeathen (the door-to-door atheist), LovingDoubt (angry happy holidays customer), and ProfMTH (marriage activist).

Should Christians Support Israel?

Read SHOULD CHRISTIANS SUPPORT ISRAEL? on http://www.davidduke.com

Many Christians are now told that Christians must support Israel and even support Jewish power in America because “God has covenant with the Jews.”

In fact, this goes against the fundamental teachings of the New Testament!

In the first place, the Covenant talked about in the Old Testament was always “Conditional.” That is, God said that he would honor it to the 1000th generation, BUT, that they did not keep the commandments of God, or rejected him, that God would requite them and “destroy” them.

The traditional and correct Christian view is that by hating and rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, they have rejected God and broke the Covenant. The New Testament says that very clearly!

The New Testament gives us the very words of God himself in the clearest of language.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. (Hebrews 8:67, 910)

Christianity from its founding has always held that Jews hated Christ, caused his crucifixion, rejected God’s son and have rejected Jesus every since. Therefore, they broke God’s Covenant. God made a NEW Covenant for those who accept Jesus Christ.

Jewish extremist power has been this biggest enemy of Jesus Christ and Christians for the last 2,000 years. They lead the destruction of our Christian values with Hollywood, and lead every kind of degeneracy from to Abortion, to destruction of every Christian value. Jewish extremists led the legal fight to ban Prayers in School, even ban Christmas carols.

It is not every Jew, of course, but the Jewish power structure has led the fight for abortion, for homosexual degeneracy and marriage and for the de-Christianization of America.,

It is a tragedy that some Christians have been deluded into thinking that they are being good Christians by supporting these anti-Christian Jewish enemies of Christ himself.

When you see this film, you will understand why Billy Graham said what he said about them, and you will understand why he to, in his own words, crawl to them. That’s how much power they really have in America. He can’t say publicly what he says privately. He is afraid they will destroy his ministry.

It breaks my heart to see Christians deluded into supporting the worst enemies of Jesus Christ and really themselves.

Christ may have said turn the other cheek, but he never said to support evil deeds.

This video is dedicated to my Christian friends, who deserve to hear the traditional Christian view and not the brand new view of Judaism and Jewish extremists promoted by the same establishment which is in Graham’s words, are causing America to “go down the drain.”

We must inform our fellow Christians and wake up our brethren before it is too late.

Oswald Chambers – Prayer

Belief – Oswald Chambers

Oswald Chambers (1874-1917) was born July 24, 1874, in Aberdeen, Scotland. Converted in his teen years under the ministry of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, he studied art and archaeology at the University of Edinburgh before answering a call from God to the Christian ministry. He then studied theology at Dunoon College. From 1906-1910 he conducted an itinerant Bible-teaching ministry in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan.

In 1910, Chambers married Gertrude Hobbs. They had one daughter, Kathleen.

In 1911 he founded and became principal of the Bible Training College in Clapham, London, where he lectured until the school was closed in 1915 because of World War I. In October 1915 he sailed for Zeitoun, Egypt (near Cairo), where he ministered to troops from Australia and New Zealand as a YMCA chaplain. He died there November 15, 1917, following surgery for a ruptured appendix.

Although Oswald Chambers wrote only one book, Baffled to Fight Better, more than thirty titles bear his name. With this one exception, published works were compiled by Mrs. Chambers, a court stenographer, from her verbatim shorthand notes of his messages taken during their seven years of marriage. For half a century following her husband’s death she labored to give his words to the world.

My Utmost For His Highest, his best-known book, has been continuously in print in the United States since 1935 and remains in the top ten titles of the religious book bestseller list with millions of copies in print. It has become a Christian classic.

National Day of Prayer deep sixed

Note: The t-shirt worn is a tan color one, not the usual white t-shirt. Nothing wrong with your computer or YouTube

Since 1952 the United States of America has had a National Day of Prayer as established by Congress, and in 1988 set to the first Thursday in May. Federal Judge Barbara Crabb appointed by President Carter (Democrat) has ruled the National Day of Prayer to be unconstitutional.

Apparently this Democrat judge is not familiar with the Constitution, specifically the First Amendment which reads:

“Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise there of;…”

Most victims of American public schools in the last 30 years are only aware of the first ten words. The National Day of Prayer did not establish or recognize a religion as it was open to all people of faith. The judge’s ruling on the National Day of Prayer in effect violates the First Amendment part, “….or prohibiting the free exercise there of…..”

However to the Democratic Party leadership the Constitution is nothing but an annoyance to ignore. Now apparently their judicial appointments are of the same mind.

First President of the United States, President George Washington in 1789 issued a Thanksgiving Proclamation mentioning the “almighty God,” and referenced “…the great Lord and Ruler of Nations…” Did George Washington one of the delegates to the Constitution Convention violate the very document he help authored?

The National Day of Prayer is a day for people of all faiths, Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, etc., to engage in prayer. That special day is not unconstitutional, but to rule it is violates the constitutional, that is unconstitutional. Democrat Jude Crabb, should be ashamed of herself.

A Revival Account: Asbury 1970

Order the DVD at: http://forerunner.com/asbury/asbury.html

“The 1970 revival at Asbury College will go down in history as one of the greatest supernatural events of the last half of the 20th century. Millions of people across the United States and the world were impacted by it. This simple video odes a wonderful job of conveying something of the outpouring’s heart and power. Everyone we have ever shown this to have an immediate impartation of faith for revival and the power of prayer. What God did once at this campus, we believe He will do again on every campus where a group of students will open their hearts to Him.”

- Bob and Rose Weiner, Weiner Ministries International

***************

What is true Revival and Spiritual Awakening? Discover the answer in this eyewitness account by Dennis Kinlaw, President of Asbury College, Wilmore, Kentucky, who recounts the story of a visitation of the Holy Spirit in 1970. If you are a student who longs to see a spiritual awakening at your school, you must see this video!

This is the presentation that has continued to spark the flames of Revival in the hearts of people around the world. Contains eyewitness footage from the Revival at Asbury College in 1970 in Wilmore, Kentucky. Certain to challenge you to greater holiness and a deeper commitment to full-scale revival. Original news and private footage has been included.

WILMORE, Kentucky — One morning in 1970, without warning, all heaven broke loose during Asbury College’s 10 a.m. chapel service.

“When you walked into the back of Hughes Auditorium … there was a kind of an aura, kind of a glow about the chapel,” said Dr. David Hunt, a Louisville physician who was then a student.

“I always have been reminded of the verse ‘Take off your shoes, for you are standing on holy ground.’ You just walked in and sensed that God had indeed sent His Spirit.”

The service, a routine meeting, was scheduled for 50 minutes. Instead, it lasted 185 hours non-stop, 24 hours a day. Intermittently, it continued for weeks. Ultimately, it spread across the United States and into foreign countries. Some say it is being felt even today.

2010 will mark the 40th anniversary of the landmark 1970 Asbury College revival, an unplanned, unled display of fervor that has been compared to the Great Awakenings of 1740 and 1800. This year will also mark the 60th anniversary of a strikingly similar revival Asbury experienced in 1950.

A bigger outbreak — a global revival, in fact — will begin soon, says David McKenna, president of adjacent Asbury Theological Seminary, in his new book, The Coming Great Awakening.

The revival might not start at Asbury, but it probably will begin on campuses, says McKenna, a noted author. He travels to many colleges and says, “I see the signs wherever I go.”

Those signs include a generation of students wounded by family breakdowns and searching for spiritual fulfillment. Much of the coming revival will be a delayed reaction, McKenna thinks, to what happened at Asbury College 20 years ago.
