		<description>Use masking tape around the area where you are going to make your cuts, or do any drilling, this will help alot to keep the wood from cracking. Also use a blade with more teeth, I use a Freud 80t on my compound mitre.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>

I would think if you can experiment with different drying techniques;IE out of sun, in and out of moisture etc. you can keep from cracking. You can cut it and drill it with regular woodworking tools.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;</description>
